Quarantine time, wooooooooooooot! Looks like I ain't going to school for the rest of March. And by that I mean we still have to work from home, but we're not allowed to be at the school. It is physically being shut down so we can't get in. The teachers and staffs have been busy preparing online classes and setting up VPN so we can access the school's server from home. As well as trying to somehow provide licenses for the long list of software we use at school. I wonder how they're gonna handle THAT. We can't all just buy Maya, PhotoShop, ZBrush, Houdini, Unreal Engine, Unity, Fusion, 3DS Max, 3D Coat, Substance Painter, Marvelous, MudBox and whatever else I'm forgetting about
School has quite the software library, come to think of it...
Guess things are getting kinda heated. Lots of people have been busy emptying supermarkets. Preeeeeeeetty unnecessary. A few fights have broken out over it. Honestly I'm more afraid of the panic than the corona atm. I should be strong enough to deal with some buff flu, but scared people are unpredictable and dangerous.
Just wondering, how are things at your places? People acting like it's the apocalypse?
In Denmark we currently have little less than 700 confirmed infected and 0 dead, thankfully. Guess the big daddy authorities want to act strong NOW before anything too bad happens, which is understandable. It just sucks that some people are overreacting and stockpiling like a nuke is gonna hit within the hour.
